Ida Brabrand’s principal practice areas are media law, freedom of expression and employment law. She advises companies, organisations and individuals on a broad range of media and employment law matters, and has extensive experience in cases requiring an in-depth understanding of the intersection between law, communications and the public sphere. Ida Brabrand was ranked as Norway’s top up-and-coming lawyer in the Media, Sport and Culture category of Finansavisen’s lawyer survey for two consecutive years, in 2024 and 2025. She is a sought-after speaker, course leader and debate moderator, including at Arendalsuka, and serves on the editorial advisory board of Advokatbladet.
